These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by SD Courier Services & More (“the Company”). By using our services, you (“the Customer”) agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Services
SD Courier Services & More provides courier and delivery services, including same-day, next-day, scheduled, and business deliveries, subject to availability. All delivery times provided are estimates and not guaranteed.
2. Booking and Payment
All deliveries must be booked through approved communication channels. Prices are based on distance, size, weight, and urgency of the shipment. Payment may be required in full before dispatch. Additional charges may apply for express service, remote locations, waiting time, redelivery, or special handling.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure that all packages are properly packaged and labeled, and that accurate sender and receiver information is provided. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the package. The Company is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by incorrect information, inadequate packaging, or failure of the recipient to accept delivery.
4. Prohibited and Restricted Items
The Company does not transport illegal goods, hazardous materials, flammable items, weapons, or any item prohibited by law. Perishable or high-value items must be declared and approved before shipping. The Company reserves the right to refuse any shipment at its discretion.
5. Delivery and Failed Delivery
Proof of delivery may include a signature, photograph, or electronic confirmation. If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect details, unavailability of the recipient, or unsafe conditions, the shipment may be returned or rescheduled at the Customer’s expense.
6. Liability and Claims
While reasonable care is taken in handling all shipments, SD Courier Services & More is not responsible for normal wear, improper packaging, or prohibited items. Any claim for loss or damage must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery. If compensation is approved, it will be limited to the Company’s stated liability coverage and will not exceed the value declared at booking.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made before dispatch. Once a shipment is in transit, refunds are not guaranteed. Approved refunds may exclude service fees and administrative costs.
8. Right to Refuse Service
The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate service for any shipment that violates these Terms and Conditions, poses a safety risk, or involves abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior.
9. Privacy
Customer information is treated as confidential and is used solely for service delivery, communication, and business operations.
10. Amendments
SD Courier Services & More reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.
